Are you looking for a fun and creative activity to enjoy this September ? 

Look no further than the Clay Mug Workshop at Space 2 Make in Accrington! This workshop is the perfect way to unwind and explore your creativity, whilst having a great time with friends or meeting new people.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a drink to enjoy while your experienced teacher explains/ demonstrates the basics of working with clay. Don't worry if you've never tried pottery before - this workshop is suitable for all skill levels, and you'll be amazed at what you can create with a little guidance.

During the workshop, you'll get to make a set of 2 pottery mugs.

You'll be provided with all the necessary materials and tools, so simply relax, and let your creativity flow. After creating your plates, you'll take a break for some cake and refreshments allowing them time to firm up before some general smoothing and refining.

Once you have completed your masterpieces, the finished pieces will be dried and fired, giving them a special durability.

You will be invited to return 3 /4 weeks later to paint your pieces before a second clear dipping glaze will be applied, and the pieces will be re- fired to enhance their appearance and make them food safe. You'll then return to take home your stunning finished pieces.
